TOURS IN IRELAND

TOURS IN IRELAND

The island of Ireland is just west of Great Britain and is the Western most island in Europe.  Ireland is the third largest island in Europe and is in a low-lying mountain area, surrounded by plains. Ireland is a cosmopolitan country which is a tourist favorite destination.  There are many famous places in Ireland such as national museum, shopping malls, entertainment zones, wildlife, heritage building, parks etc.

History of Ireland music is a fascinating one, encompassing per-Baroque music, Celtic dance songs, present day rock, and much more. In May, visitors can attend one of the more traditional events in Ireland—the Fleadh Nuo. The Fleadh Nuo is the annual festival of traditional Irish music, song, and dance. It takes place in Ennis, County Clare. Attending a music festival is a fabulous way to learn about the culture and history of Ireland.

One of the more popular music festivals in Ireland is the Galway Early Music Festival, which also gives tourists a good look at the history of Ireland music. Between old world and new world music events, the history of Ireland music is not a linear one. Irish music, and the country as a whole, often seems timeless.

Tourist Information:

Many routes link to cities in the UK with frequent flights from London to Dublin Airport. Ferry services from the Britain sail to Dublin (Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire) and Rosslare, Belfast and Cork. Continental ferry sailings from France serve Rosslare and Cork.

If visiting during the warmer months of June, July and August bring light summer clothes: shorts, tee-shirts, light slacks. You will also need to bring some warmer clothes for the cooler evenings and occasional cold snaps. In cooler seasons, of course, substantially warmer clothing is needed.Ireland, the green island in north-western Europe, remained for centuries in the shadow of the larger neighboring island of Great Britain and was almost forgotten by the rest of Europe.

Ireland has mild oceanic climate that is often changeable with very few extremes in temperatures. The climate is generally warm but the temperatures are not extreme. Rainfall is frequent making Ireland a suitable tourist destination. With such climatic condition, Ireland can be visited during any time of the year.
